What is Access to Work

Access to Work (ATW) is a Government funded grant that aids practical support if you have a disability, health or mental health condition. The aim is to help you start work, stay in work or be able move into self-employment or start a business.

This is a non-means tested grant, regardless of how much you earn. Receiving an ATW grant will not affect any other benefits you get and you will not have to pay it back.

The scheme provides support to minimise barriers, make reasonable adjustments, and includes coaching to gain the skills and strategies needed to 'just make life easier' in the work place.

The Chaotic Mind Coach provides Work Strategy Coaching and Neurodiversity Coaching, aimed at equipping you with realistic approaches for you to utilise in the workplace, and also benefit your personal life.

We typically see ATW clients receive between 8 - 20 hours of funded coaching, as well as co-coaching with a manager.

Although this is funded, you or your employer may need to pay some costs up front and claim them back later.
